Mastercard
Doing well by doing good is the maxim of Berlinale Talents and Mastercard in creating sustainable change. The Berlinale Talents Mastercard Enablement Programme helps filmmakers achieve social impact through financial support, mentorship and public awareness. Mastercard’s Jessica Claar explains: "For us, filmmakers are motors for change, not just by what they bring to the screen, but also for their ideas on how to create a fairer world in which to live and work. With our programme, we hope to encourage and support you in leaving behind your footprint."

In 2025 Mastercard once again supported the Dine & Shine Dinner, the Berlinale’s legendary networking event involving more than 400 guests, including industry experts and filmmakers from the festival, hosted by Loretta Stern.
We look forward to working together again in the upcoming 2026 edition.
Berlinale Talents Mastercard Enablement Programme
In 2026, the one-of-a-kind Berlinale Talents Mastercard Enablement Programme returns for its sixth edition, with Berlinale Talents and co‑partner Mastercard once again supporting two new sustainable, cinema-centred projects. This year’s distinguished jury, who will selected two new fellows and two returning alumni, comprises actor, writer, director, and producer Lamin Leroy Gibba (Dogfriend, Black Fruit), director and Berlinale Talents alumna Mala Reinhardt (The Second Attack, Familiar Places) and Maximilian Floegel, Vice President of Marketing Communications at Mastercard for DACH.
The fellows, both new and returning, were formally announced in the presence of the jury during the famous Dine & Shine Dinner, during the Berlinale Talents Summit in February.
